It's ISSA Awards Show Week!

On Saturday August 5, Jill and I will be heading to Atlanta for the International Singer Songwriters Association Awards Show! The Association has over 16,000 members worldwide and this year I was honored to be nominated in 7 different categories and ended up being a finalist in 4 categories (Male Songwriter of the Year, Album of the Year, Single of the Year and Male Rising Star of the Year). Later on this week we will be loading up the car and making the cross country trek. The show is always a great event to catch up with fellow musicians along with networking with promoters, managers and radio stations. As with past years the ISSA has a Pre-Show party on Friday for the finalists and then after the award show ends on Saturday, there will be a post-show party as well. But before the festivities we will be making a few stops along the way to spend with friends and doing some site seeing.

As this week goes on, I'll be blogging to keep all of you updated as to our preparations and adventures along the way.
